I am ready to write about something fun, how about you?
Okay, who watches Torchwood on the BBC America? I love this show. It’s one of a couple of Dr. Who spin offs. It’s like the Star Trek franchise gone bi/metro sexual with the little blue pill. Did I mention that I love this show? Just when you think it is totally over the top, they do an episode that really touches you emotionally. What the hell are they doing with that season finale?
It has totally screwed up my DVR recording issues for Saturday nights. The last show of the season was last week and now I am forced to watch amazingly bad sci fi channel made for TV movies. Okay, I could be watching HBO or Showtime, but it amuses me to see how long I can watch a movie that sucks.
Why aren’t you reading? Yes, ask me that!
Because…I can’t right now.
I’ve spent the last week home from work because my head was spinning. My inner ear is wreaking havoc with my ability to read and walk. ~I hate that when it happens.~ It doesn’t happen very often, thankfully. So, I’m on day four of my steroid pack and I can finally watch a bit of TV without feeling like I’m going to puke. Who knew it would not be a stellar night in TV viewing. Sometimes things just aren’t the good time they should be.
So, my niece replies to questions with “Meh.”
How are you? “Meh.”
Anything interesting happening? “Meh”
It cracks me up everytime she does it. She shares these words, little gems that are perfect to express her mind. Yes, our conversations are much longer than your usually one syllable word.
Just sharing a bit.
Rhianna
Um… Whatever.
Seriously, that sucks about your inner ear thing. Do you have to lie down all the time? Or do you sway about when you walk and might fall? Is is kind of like when you get up too fast and you get all dizzy and disoriented? Or,Is is like when you drive a D3 Caterpillar all day up and down hills and then you find that your body is still moving long after you’ve stopped hours before?
Just curious.

Meh.

LOL… Yeah, the *MEH* reply can say an awful lot more than it may originally appear. Kids, eh?
And Rhianna about the inner ear infection… UGH! I was going through that a few months ago and I hated it… then I figured it wasn’t my ear, even though there was an infection, it was my new glasses! I hadn’t had new glasses for a number of years (man, times flies!) and when I got new ones, wow. My prescription had changed so much that it took 2 weeks of gradually increaing my daily wearing of my new glasses. Now that was fun… not!
I hope your infection is gone soon… not nice not being able to do anything; or feeling sick if you do.

Hi All,
We’ll I’ve never ridden a D3 Caterpillar at all, much less all day, so that would be a hard one to answer. But, I’m going with a big yes.
You see…I’m deaf in my right ear, happened after ear surgery. Not hard of hearing, but stone cold deaf. And every once in a while it gets my balance freaky. I will list to one side sometimes, but when it’s really bad, well it’s the spinning you get with that big stupid drunk from college. Only it goes on for days at a time. It was my bad, I didn’t pick up my diuretic pills on time. (OMG, do I sound like an old fart, or what?)
Better today. I got out of the house and did some shopping. I spent a while at the department store in the bra department. All I can say to that is … Meh. I’m a week behind now on everything, not that there’s a time keeper. I was pissing and moaning to my sister that I couldn’t even write for the first few days, but I managed to end the week with a big fat sex scene for one of the stories I’m working on. I know I felt much better afterwards. So did my characters.

Rhianna, just thinking about that kind of spinning from being too drunk makes me ill. I feel for you on that one.
Um… forgetting to get your pills doesn’t make you sound like an old fart. But you could be one anyway for all anyone knows.
Bra shopping? That’s right up there with clothes shopping and having surgery without anesthesia for me. Glad it was you who did that today and not me.
I would piss and moan too if I had days wasted due to an illness. It’s no fun at any rate.
But you managed to write what I’m sure is one of the best parts of your story. Yay! I’m not an old fart, just a pervy old fart.
I can’t wait to read your next story.
I’m glad you are feeling better at any rate, even though now you will have to catch up.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. I figured someone would enjoy the pages I managed to produce. (hehe)

Well I’m sure that once we get a chance to read the “big fat sex scene” we’ll be feeling much better too! LOL
Glad you could get some work done… everything feels better when something’s accomplished.

Rhianna- it kind of looks like your fans only care about the sex in your books. Shame on us!
Well, I for one will say it’s not only about the sex. It’s also about the great characters and sex, the fascinating story development and sex, and of course the deep emotional love and sex, that you’ve written and are writing, I’m sure. Yeah, that’s it; it’s about all of it, and of course, the sex. Can’t forget about the sex. Just saying.

Yes, Yawn…I reread it tonight, just to check for spelling errors.
I seriously have to write! I’ll throw out a freebie here sometime…before too long. Promise.

Leah, I get a chuckle everytime I read your little speech on how we care too much for the sex in Rhianna’s books. I was reading it to my dh last night and could barely control the giggles… good thing he’s used to me by now. LOL
Seriously Rhianna, whatever you write is more than A-OK with me… it’s just the sex scenes are so well done… just sayin’ s’all. *grin*

“Seriously Rhianna, whatever you write is more than A-OK with me…”
Yeah me too. I’ll even read your To-Do and shopping lists. I’ll write up some great reviews on them unless something like cow brains or pig’s knuckles are on there.
If whip cream and NY Cheese cake is on the list though, you get 5 stars automatically!
I just know I can make your shopping and to-do lists sound as if they’re the most salacious thing you’ve ever written and get people to buy them from you.

Sounds like a deal!!
For the blog this weekend I’ll write a shopping list in the most salacious manner possible. Then everyone must submit thier own shopping list!
The winner recieves one item off my shopping list. My choice!
I’ll post by Sunday afternoon and will take your shopping lists until the following Saturday. This should be fun. *rubbing hands together and making guafaw noises*

Oh man Leah.. you just had to go and set up a challenge like that! That means that I have to think? Fie on you. *grin*
And a salacious grocery list… sounds like fun Rhianna.. I can hardly wait! LOL

Kathy, see… it wasn’t even a challenge. I was just messing around being facetious. That’s what I get, huh. I think I need to learn to keep my big mouth shut, or keep the hands away from the keyboard! LOL
I’m actually looking forward to seeing if I can do a great, very serious, review of Rhianna’s shopping list. *snort*

ROFLOL… Oh, Leah… thanks for the laughs.
Yeah, must admit I’m going to be looking forward to your review. *grin*

Oh…the pressure! I can just hear all the minds going about the lists. Look what YOU started Rhianna!

I am going to allow my fried brain to rest tonight and write a mothers day shopping list. What does mama want this year?
